IT performance management will change forever because of current economic recession and force faster evolution towards showing more business value. IT leaders discovered that they could not cut IT spending or costs the right way do to immature communication of IT and business value. The traditional IT productivity and financial metrics will be woefully inadequate in helping the business be successful now or in the future.
