Business process modeling can be used in many different areas, all of which have different requirements for models, techniques and supporting tools. Process modeling is a key business process management technology when used in a business process management suite initiative. Similarly, many business process analysis tools can be used by enterprise architects as part of the enterprise architecture. Moreover, process modeling is used in business models, quality models and organizational development. Consequently, there are a lot of tools that provide similar functionality, and most tools provide bridges to other tools.
