As attacks become more financially motivated and as organizations get better at securing their infrastructure, risks have shiftted to the application level. To address these new risks, new application security marketspace has emerged. It includes security technologies (such as: static and dynamic application security testing, data privacy and obfuscation, software composition analysis, application hardening and shielding); security implementation practices, and service offerings.
