Anne Lapkin is a research vice president in Gartner Research, where she provides clients with advice on the alignment of technology solutions with business goals. She is an expert in the development of complex business and technology architectures in a variety of industries, including financial services and banking, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, distribution, and telecommunications. Ms. Lapkin is also one of the leaders of Gartner's context-aware computing research, which deals with the use of context information to improve the quality of an interaction. Ms. Lapkin joined Gartner in 2003.
