Dr. Peter Kürpick, Chief Product Officer and Member of the Board is responsible for Research and Development at Software AG. Prior to Software AG, he was Senior Vice President Server Technology at SAP and as such was responsible for major parts of the SAP Netweaver stack, which is the foundation of all SAP applications. In 2000 he acted as Executive Board Assistant for Prof. Dr. Hasso Plattner, former CEO and co-founder of SAP In 1989, Dr. Kürpick earned a Diploma in Physics focusing on theoretical physics/supercomputer topics and a PhD in theoretical physics in 1993.
