John McLean
Vice President, WebSphere Connectivity Development and Director , IBM Hursley Laboratory
John McLean is the Vice President of WebSphere Connectivity Development and Director of the IBM Hursley Laboratory in the UK. He was appointed to his present position in January 2008 and was previously Director of WebSphere Registry and Repository Development.
John joined IBM in 1983 and has held technical and managerial positions in both hardware and software development. His experience is wide ranging across IBM software, with development management roles in CICS/ESA, distributed CICS, WebSphere family, and language products. John also pioneered agile development processes within the IBM corporation to speed the time to market of this critical service-oriented architecture (SOA) technology.
