Jos Schoemaker has been COO Global Services at Getronics since the end of October 2007 and is responsible for Global Workspace Management. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the ICT industry. Before he joined Getronics, Jos worked for Unisys as Vice President and as Managing Director of the Infrastructure and Outsourcing Services division in Europe. From 2000 to 2003, he worked as Senior Vice President and member of the Board of Directors of the AMS corporation, a listed company in the U.S. Before joining AMS, Jos Schoemaker worked for 13 years for the EDS Corporation as Managing Director of EDS in the Netherlands and in 1999-2000 as a member of the European Board of EDS. Jos was also Regional Manager for EDS Australia in 1998, Country Manager for EDS Indonesia from 1996 to 1998 and Vice President for sales and marketing for Northern Europe from 1987 to 1996. Jos Schoemaker has extensive experience in international purchasing and logistics management, strategy, sales and marketing. He also has considerable expertise in opening up new markets and building relationships with customers.
