Jim Seybold is currently the Director, IT Asset Management at Marriott International. For the past eight years, he has been responsible for developing and implementing processes to effectively manage enterprise wide technology assets, focusing on software asset management, compliance and tracking. He has helped negotiate software agreements with many of the largest software publishers. Jim has presented at various industry conferences and his team conducts in-house training programs related to software compliance.
Working for Marriott since 1988, Jim has led teams in a number of assignments including Front Office, Sales, and Revenue Management. He transitioned into IT ten years ago bringing his hotel operations experience into the corporate environment.
Jim is a graduate of Penn State University, and is a Certified IT Asset Manager. He resides in Northern Virginia. His hobbies include golf, swimming, volunteering, and supporting his children’s sports teams.
