John Edgar serves as the Manager, Corporate IT Portfolios for the US Postal Service. In support of the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of IT Operations, he is responsible for the development and implementation of information technology solutions for all lines of business in the Postal Service. Additionally, he is leading a corporate effort to migrate the USPS towards self-service reporting and enhanced data analysis through the use the corporate Enterprise Data Warehouse and standardized report development and BI/analytics tools. Mr. Edgar co-chaired the USPS Enterprise Data Warehouse Steering Committee where he was the IT interface to the business organizations for all issues associated with the usage, operation and management of the EDW, one of the largest data warehouse efforts in government.
