Mark R. Sauvageau is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps; Level 3 certified in Financial Management and Program Management; and, received an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is currently serving as the Chief of the Corporate Financial Operations Office, US Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC). His responsibilities include all aspects of Resource Management for ARDEC which is at the scientific cutting-edge in the advancement of armaments, technology exploration and innovation. Previously, he served as the Acting Deputy Chief of Staff for Resource Management and was responsible for launching the Resource Management Office for the Joint Munitions & Lethality Life Cycle Management Center (LCMC) which manages the Conventional Munitions for the Warfighter, International Partners and other Customers. In his 28 year career, Mr. Sauvageau has implemented various automated applications including the Cognos tool set and additional planning and budgeting applications. He has been instrumental in bringing ARDEC’s financial arena into the 21st century by applying standardized business processes across the Competency through the application of Six Sigma techniques. Cross-functional teaming, Voice of the Customer and Streamlining Requirements are some of Mr. Sauvageau’s more highly emphasized techniques instituted at ARDEC. He continues to plan, direct, and evaluate the work accomplishments of an agile and flexible 100 employee organization and to ensure a systematic approach to achieve assigned objectives.
