Suman Sharma is the BI Leader for GE Rail Services supporting all business functions including Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Risk, Collections and Asset Management. She is responsible for developing and executing the BI Strategy founded upon a robust analytical platform and strong business and technology partnership. Rail BI team has won many industry and GE awards for delivering high quality innovative applications with exceptional business value. In her earlier role as Analytics Manager, Suman led the team to deliver innovative, cutting-edge analytical tools for the business, winning the 2007 SAS Innovation award and the 2008 TDWI Enterprise BI award. Prior to joining GE in 2005, She worked with United Airlines leading a number of key IT and business transformation initiatives. She has extensive experience across varied IT and business disciplines including process/project improvement, large project management, and implementation of strategic business initiatives. She Represented GE Rail on “Game Changing Ideas” Panel at 2008 SAS Global conference Suman holds an MBA in Marketing and 2008 CBIP certification from TDWI.
