Garth Sundem
Author

Garth Sundem was destined to be a geek. "My dad's a former president of the American Accounting Association, and my mom is a Ph.D. psychoanalyst," he explains. "I was doomed from the get-go." A graduate of Cornell University, he earned a Masters Degree in Music Theory and Composition. A former language arts and music teacher, Mr. Sundem has published more than 15 books, primarily on the subjects of literacy and social studies. He has also written 2 popular books: Geek Logik: 50 Foolproof Equations for Everyday Life and The Geek's Guide to World Domination: Be Afraid, Beautiful People, which will be released in March, 2009. Congressional Quarterly commissioned him to create a midterm-election predictor that Sundem says turned out to be "freaky accurate."
