Joan Manning is the Executive Vice President of Business Operations for Lincoln Trust Company, a leader in the self-directed retirement account industry with over 100,000 client accounts and $15 billion in assets under administration. Joan is responsible for all operations of the company related to client accounts, assets and records. Over the past three years, working in close alliance with IT, Joan has transformed the Operations group from a conglomeration of overlapping inefficient teams laden with burdensome manual processes into streamlined functional groups. The implementation of automation and straight through processing combined with imaging workflow and a dynamic business process management program has resulted in a 40% expense reduction for Operations. Joan held a variety of strategic positions during her 20 years with Fiserv Inc., a Fortune 500 firm. Most notably, for 3 years she was Senior Vice President and Channel Head for the largest and most profitable product channel for Fiserv Investment Support Services. Prior to that Joan was named the President of Resources Trust when Fiserv acquired the company. There she led the merger of the firm with two other trust companies also owned by Fiserv. This required system conversions, rebranding, a pricing restructure, the reallocation and integration of over 350 employees and the implementation of a new marketing and sales program. Joan has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of Colorado with additional course work in Accounting. Joan has held key positions in several industry related committees and associations throughout her career.
