Jayne Nickalls is Chief Executive of Directgov, the UK Government’s official website. Directgov provides essential government information and receives up to 20 million visits per month. Directgov ensures continuous improvement for users, and encourages take up of user-friendly online government services – including education, tax, benefits and motoring. Prior to Directgov, Jayne was Vice President of Consulting Services, Chordiant Software, a US based software start-up, where she oversaw the delivery of customer solutions focussed on Financial Services. Jayne’s early career was in business consulting and operational research within British Gas and Cap Gemini. Jayne has degrees in Zoology (BSc Hons), Computing (MSc) and an MBA.
