Ian Black, 45, joined Autonomy in June 2000, and now serves as Head of Global Operations. Ian has overseen pioneering knowledge management projects for many of the world’s most prestigious organizations, including GSK and Philips, and has acted as advisor on information governance to regulatory organisations in the UK and US. Formerly, as Head of Corporate Communications at British Aerospace (BAE Systems), Ian achieved a string of world "firsts" including deployment of the world's first global automated Intranet. Ian's work earned over a dozen awards and was responsible for driving cultural change throughout the company. Ian studied Physiology at Henley Management College and Business Administration at Filton College, Bristol.
