Bjarne Munch is a principal research analyst in Gartner, based in Brisbane, Australia. Mr. Munch is also agenda manager for the research area Communications-Enterprise Strategies, which takes responsibility for Gartner's research coverage of areas such as best practices for enterprise network architecture, planning and standards, enterprise network infrastructure evolution, and vendor landscape.
His responsibilities include research and advisory work in enterprise networking, network service procurement, IP telephony and unified communications, videoconferencing, and related services. His particular interests include enterprise network design, global and Asia/Pacific regional WAN services, application networking such as WAN optimization and application acceleration, and IP telephony and unified communications.
Mr. Munch provides strategic and technical advice on network service and managed network service strategies and sourcing best practices and service-level agreements, as well as advice on videoconferencing, IP telephony and unified communications strategy development, solution design, and deployment best practices.
