Tony has more than 29 years experience in the Information Technology industry. In 1990, Tony joined the then State Bank of NSW as a programmer in the Treasury department. From there, he became Head of IT in 1995 and two years later was appointed the Program Director for the Core Systems Replacement Project at Colonial State Bank. In 2000, he was appointed CIO of Colonial First State and then in 2002, Australian Banking & Finance named Tony ‘Best Chief Information Officer’. Tony then took the position of CIO for Wealth Management within CBA and in 2007, joined HBOSA as CIO. Subsequently in late 2008, Tony found that he was once again part of the CBA Group as CIO for Bankwest. He is a member of the Australian Computer Society and has held various directorships.
