Jane has worked in client service for 25 years with Telstra, the Brisbane City Council, the Queensland Government and now the Australian Tax Office. In Jane’s previous role with the Queensland Government, she was responsible for integrating the generic services offered by its 25 departments into a multi-channel one stop shop called "Smart Service Queensland". Jane had a similar role in Brisbane City Council with approximately 500 services available via a multi-channel integrated model delivering resolution at first point of contact. Jane was attracted to the ATO due to its commitment to Client Service and the new role as Deputy Commissioner of Client Contact seemed a perfect fit for her skills. The ATO is serious about client service and has now established the Client Contact Business Line as the front door to the Tax Office.
