Paul Jervis has a background of many years work in the energy supply industry. More than 20 years were spent in the Central Electricity Research Laboratories developing the application of real-time computing to a variety of control and optimisation problems in supergrid operation, power station optimization and human factors in power plant operation. Over the last 15 years, in National Power and now RWE npower, Paul has successively been responsible for IT Architecture and Standards, Infrastructure Planning, IT aspects of power station divestment and company demergers, and Central IT Policy including IT Security. He is currently the Chief Information Security Officer for RWEnpower.
