Marco Cartagena Jr. is AVP and network security engineer for Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation's North America division, in charge of protecting the bank's internal and perimeter networks. With over 11 years of experience as an IT professional, Marco brings a well rounded view on security, having worked in the areas of desktop, server, and network security. Prior to joining SMBC, Marco worked as the Network Engineer for Sesame Workshop, and Crimson Technologies Inc. as a consultant for Estee Lauder Inc., and various financial institutions.
