John is CIO of Alcatel-Lucent. He has 18 years of IT/IS experience in senior management and strategic consultant roles for various industries. These experiences involved global and complex operations that required transforming and simplifying the environment. Prior to his current role, John was CIO of Radio Frequency Systems, Inc. (RFS) which is a global telecom manufacturer and vertical business within Alcatel-Lucent. In this role, his priorities have been to drive improvements that focus on maximizing value to the business and increasing employees’ productivity and effectiveness. He drove change by deploying a single global ERP system, a sales force automation system and eBusiness programs across multiple countries to streamline business operations, reduce IT complexity and enable business growth. He has also built a global business intelligence system to enable the business to monitor key performance indicators to facilitate quick decision making. He has been responsible for establishing a secure and cost effective global IT infrastructure.
