Richard Matlus is a vice president in Gartner Research. He is in the IT Sourcing and Services group that is responsible for research on consultants, system integrators and outsource providers. Mr. Matlus concentrates on helping clients with contract negotiations, the development of service levels, sourcing decisions and infrastructure outsourcing. Under infrastructure outsourcing, he concentrates on the data center, IT help desk and PC services and is a research leader in global remote delivery of infrastructure services.
