Mr. Noer is Sr. Director, Product Marketing at SGI. In this position, he is responsible for product strategy and SGI product lines. Mr. Noer has 14 years of experience in the computer industry. Before joining SGI in 2003, he led technical marketing and systems engineering at Zambeel, a scalable network attached storage start-up. Earlier, he was director of field applications engineering at Red Hat via its acquisition of Cygnus Solutions, focused on open source software development tools and Linux. Mr. Noer holds a BA in Computer Science from Swarthmore College.
