Audrey Apfel is a managing VP and Gartner fellow, heading up Gartner's Program and Portfolio Management research team. This is Ms. Apfel's second time as an active member of Gartner Research. After several years as an analyst in networking, hosting and service providers, and being selected as a Gartner fellow during that time, Ms. Apfel was recruited for several business management positions within Gartner. These included business operations, PMO and product development. Ms. Apfel returned to Gartner Research to launch and lead the Gartner for IT Leaders offering in Program and Portfolio Management in June 2006.
