Mark Burke has been a member of David H. Murdock Research Institute since April 2008, serving as Director of Informatics, working closely with the CIO to build the core bioinformatics research and datacenter teams. He is the chief architect of DHMRI’s Core lab Data Center, which has been designed to enable life science research. Prior to joining DHMRI he spent seven years as a member of the Department of Plant Pathology at NCSU. Burke lives in Cary, NC and his scientific training and passion for technology has enabled him to prepare the DHMRI Core Laboratory environment for next generation science.
