Henry J. Sienkiewicz accepted his appointment to the federal Senior Executive Service in April 2008 when he assumed his current position as the Technical Program Director for the Defense Information Systems Agency’s Computing Service. Prior to this position, he was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer for Open Travel Software, an award winning software developer focused on the global travel community. His previous experiences include the Chief Information Officer role at three technology companies. He retired as United States Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel in July 2008.
Mr. Sienkiewicz holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame and a Masters of Science from the Johns Hopkins University. He is also a graduate of the United States Army Command and General Staff College.
In 2006, he completed and published his first book, Centerlined, which dealt with on interpersonal and organizational dynamics. Mr. Sienkiewicz resides in Alexandria, Virginia.
