Current economic conditions are forcing many consumers of IT management products to evaluate and formally assess product costs, features, functions, usage and value. The assessment is needed to identify and eliminate product overlap, identify and replace poor performing or expensive products, and evaluate potential cost-effective alternatives. In this presentation, we describe how the downturn economy is affecting IT management, IT operations tools usage, and the product decisions that now need to be made to support cost-reduction initiatives.
