John Rivard is the Infrastructure Services Executive at the AAA of Northern California, Nevada & Utah managing all IT platform, storage, networks, and telephony systems. With AAA, John led transition of the IT organization from San Francisco to Glendale, improved IT financial management as leader of IT Business Operations, and driven “Running IT like a business” strategies. Previously, John was with USAA for 19 years in roles spanning from business forecasting analyst in corporate strategic planning to Assistant Vice President of Product and Program Management, in IT Operations. John has a BS in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Following his degree, he taught evening economics classes for seven years at UTSA.
